CLOTH, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME AND WARMER USING THE CLOTH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cloth which is lightweight in spite of having thickness, is flexible and is suitable as a constituent element for a warmer. SOLUTION: The cloth 1 has the vertical cross section of the cloth 1 in which individual fibers 2a and 2b are arranged slantingly in fixed directions to increase thickness and an air content. The fibers 2a arranged at the upper side of the cloth 1 and the fibers 2b arranged at the lower side of the cloth are inclined in a linear symmetry. At least parts of the fibers 2a and the fibers 2b are constituted of melting fibers and the fibers are mutually bonded by hot melting. A reinforcing material 10 composed of a nonwoven sheet is piled on the cloth 1. The reinforcing material 10 is bonded to the cloth 10 by thrusting a needle from the outside of the reinforcing material 10 to the middle of the thickness of the cloth 1. A heating material 32 is placed on the cloth 1, a surface cloth 31 is piled on the heating element and stuck to the heating element to constitute the whole planar electric carpet main body 30.
