PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily compensate a modulation factor even when a VCO (voltage-controlled oscillator) circuit large in element variation is incorporated integrally into a voltage-controlled oscillator circuit with a circuit configuration expressed as the function of a frequency modulation factor Kv. SOLUTION: The voltage-controlled oscillator has the circuit configuration by which variation of the modulation factor due to relative variation of elements is compensated by the circuit configuration by which a VCO modulation factor to a modulation control current terminal is realized as a function of VCO oscillation frequency (Kv) to a voltage control terminal of oscillation frequency. As technique of compensation, since the Kv is varied in a certain rate when the frequency is varied, the modulation factor can be made constant at all of oscillation frequencies by applying compensation at its inverse rate.
