摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing the rotor of an AC motor which is easy of manufacture and has safe Halbach magnet arrangement, and a magnetizing jig for it. SOLUTION: The rotor 20 of an AC motor is equipped with a rotary shaft 21, a rotor iron core 22 provided around the rotary shaft 21, and a plurality of unmagnetized magnets 24 fixed to the periphery of the rotor iron core 22 with their directions of easy magnetization geared to Halbmach magnet arrangement in unmagnetized condition. The rotor is arranged in the center space of the magnetizing jig 40 for Halbach magnet arrangement(figure (a)), and they are magnetized en block by the magnetizing jig 40 so as to magnetize all magnets 24 in line with magnetization-easy-directions, thereby materializing the so-called Halbach magnet arrangement (figure (b)) being the magnet arrangement where a magnetic pole is divided into a plurality of permanent magnets per pole and they are arranged so that the direction of magnetization of each permanent magnet may converge on the magnetic pole center.
