SOLUTION: The game machine is provided with a variable prize-winning device 12 which can vary into a first state where a game ball can enter the device prize-winning 12 and a second state where the game ball cannot enter or has difficulty to enter the prize-winning device 12; a starting device 17 which generates a moment of the variable prize-winning device 12 to vary into the first state where a game ball can enter the prize-winning device 12; and a specific area 14 which is provided inside of the prize-winning device and through which the game ball can pass. When the game ball passes through the specific area 14 within a prescribed period after the starting device 17 generates the moment of the prize-winning device 12 to vary into the first state, a specific game state which is advantageous to the player is generated. The game machine like this comprises an informing means 5 for giving information when the game ball passes through the specific area 14 after the lapse of the prescribed period after the starting device 17 generates the moment of the prize-winning device 12 to vary into the first state.
