PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplanter so designed that the working position of a puddling device can easily be regulated by ensuring the dead weight of the puddling device to be put to inaction at a position where a planting section is ascended to its non-working height. SOLUTION: This transplanter as a puddling simultaneous rice transplanter 10 includes a working implement lift mechanism 64 functioning to vertically move the puddling device 44 as the planting section 24 ascends and a mechanism 76 for vertically regulating the working position of the puddling device 44. The transplanter works as follows. At a position where the planting section 24 is ascended to its non-working height, the mechanisms 64 and 76 are unjoined from each other, enabling the working position of the puddling device 44 to be regulated by operating the mechanism 76, whereas at a position where the planting section 24 is descended to its working height, the mechanisms 64 and 76 are joined to each other, setting the puddling device 44 at its working position regulated by the mechanism 76 at a position where the planting section 24 is ascended.
