<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording method using an information recording medium onto which information is recorded by energy beam irradiation, to provide its information reproducing method and to realize a high density recording on a recording and reproducing device in a stable manner. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of light spots is synchronously modulated and a recording medium is irradiated with these spots so that light spots (1, 2) have an overlapped region on the medium.
