<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve recording reproduction characteristics when a laminated polyester film is used as a base film of a tape for optical recording, and to improve productivity. <P>SOLUTION: The laminated polyester film for an optical tape is constituted by laminating a polyester layer B in which a polyester B is a main constitutional component on one face of a polyester layer A in which a polyester A is a main constitutional component. In addition, the film surface roughness WRa(A) of the outer surface of the polyester layer A is 0.1-4 nm, and the surface roughness WRa(B) of the outer surface of the polyester layer B is 1-20 nm, and WRz(B) is 50-500 nm, and foreign substances adhering on the outer surface of the polyester layer A are ≤10 pieces/cm<SP>2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
