<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent ball bearing in which lubricating performance can be improved by positively imparting fluidity to grease staying up to the present. <P>SOLUTION: The ball bearing is provided with an inner ring 1, an outer ring 2, a plurality of balls 3 arranged freely rollably between the inner/outer rings 1, 2, a crown-type retainer 14 made of synthetic resins in which a plurality of pockets to retain the balls 3 at equal intervals along the circumference, and a seal member 16 to cover the opening part at both ends of the bearing. The grease is sealed inside a space of the bearing. A columnar pin-shaped projection 23 is projected on the upper face of each column part 22 of the crown-type retainer 14. The projection 23 is set to the height higher in the axial direction than the top of the balls 3 retained in the pockets, and at the same time, it is projected to a part with which a protruding pin is collided when the crown-type retainer 14 is protruded from a molding mold during resin molding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
