<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage contents in a system for trade, replication, use and the like of content. <P>SOLUTION: A contents user selects reproduction on a contents reproduction system 120. A contents management part 22 reads in information such as a provider point ID and a use point from a digital watermark embedded in content, and outputs it to a common settlement center 110. According to the information, a control part 14 moves the use point from a user point storage part 12 to a provider point storage part 10. The common settlement center 110 outputs a notification of prepaid point movement completion to the contents reproduction system 120.
