PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information transmission/reception system which can be conveniently installed by reducing the number of cables and exactly perform transmission/reception of information even under a severe operation environment. SOLUTION: The information transmission/reception system exchanges information between two or more detectors 5 and an information selective collection part 3 for selectively collecting pieces of information from the two or more detectors 5, and is provided with: a cable 4 of which both ends are connected with the information selective collection part 3; and a coupling part 6 attached to each of the two or more detectors 5 and for exchanging the information with the information selective collection part 3 via the cable 4. The coupling part 6 is provided with a secondary coil to be electromagnetically induced by a primary coil which is the cable 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
