摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image converting panel in which the adhesion between a photostimulable phosphor layer and a support formed by a vapor deposition method is improved, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In the radiation image converting panel in which the photostimulable phosphor layer of a membrane thickness of 50μm or thicker is formed on the support by the vapor deposition method, a vapor deposition device comprises an exhaust device a pressure-regulated gas introducing device and a device for regulating the quantity of flow of a pressure-regulated gas. The degree of vacuum in the vapor deposition device is between 1.33×10<SP>-2</SP>Pa and 1.33 Pa. The quantity of flow of the pressure-regulated gas is between 0.001-1000 sccm (sccm: standard cc/min(1×10<SP>-6</SP>m<SP>3</SP>/min)). COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
