PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a worm gear in an actuator usable for a vehicle or the like in which stress to the worm gear can be dispersed to prevent cracking or breakage in the worm gear in simple constitution. SOLUTION: A cut and raised part 18 in a bearing plate 14 integrally rotatable with an output shaft 6 of a motor 5 is tightly applied to a flat surface 13a of a hole 13 bored in an end surface 10 on the side of the motor 5 of the worm gear 8 of which inner surface is composed of the flat surface 13a and a circumferential surface 13b.
