PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a processed powder which is a mixture of a powder and an oily agent with a high degree of mixing, is not powdery and is excellent in adhesiveness to the skin; and the processed powder obtained thereby. SOLUTION: The method for producing the processed powder comprises mixing the powder with the oily agent and a solvent and drying the mixture to remove the solvent; the mixing is performed by using an intermeshing twin-screw extruder at a shearing rate of 88 to 264 (l/sec). The processed powder is produced by the above method. A cosmetic containing the processed powder is also prepared. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
