PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust outlet apparatus device or the like for a small ship, which enables the effective muffling of exhaust sounds from an engine without increasing a back pressure in an exhaust system of the engine. SOLUTION: The exhaust outlet device 1 is provided at the termination of an exhaust line Ep of the small ship, and has an exhaust chamber 2 having a capacity large enough to reduce the inner pressure of the chamber almost up to an ambient pressure. The exhaust chamber 2 has an inlet 2A into which an exhaust gas from an exhaust pipe at the upstream of the exhaust system flows, and a discharge port 2B from which the gas is discharged to the outside of the ship. The exhaust chamber 2 is arranged at the side of a pump chamber Pc to discharge the exhaust gas in the exhaust chamber 2 from the discharge port 2B to the open air. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
