PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of regenerating adsorbent which can efficiently recover the adsorption capacity of an adsorbent such as active carbon, is applicable to granular active carbon and powdery active carbon, and can regenerate an adsorbent in an adsorption column and an adsorption equipment having such a regeneration means. SOLUTION: In the method, the adsorbent is brought into contact with hydrogen peroxide and ozone. The adsorption column filled with the adsorbent, a hydrogen peroxide supply means for supplying hydrogen peroxide to the adsorption column, and an ozone supply means for supplying ozone to the adsorption column, are provided.
