PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material cutting device capable of cutting a sheet material to specified length relatively accurately even at low cost by employing a simple structured positioning device and capable of peeling a peeling film smoothly, taking up the peeling film and removing a core with ease. SOLUTION: In this sheet material cutting device, peeling films 3 and 4 are peeled from the front and back faces of the sheet material 1taken out from a sheet material containing box 11, are taken up around a pair of upper and lower take-up drums 23A and 23B while guided by guide rollers 22A and 22B, and are knocked against a cutting dimension positioning bar 33, which falls down by switching operation, to cut a sheet body 2 specified length and to be weighed. This device can cut the sheet body 2 specified length and weigh the cut sheet body 2 after peeling the peeling films 3 and 4 adhered on the front face and back face of the sheet material 1 smoothly by a series of conveying operations and can accurately prepare a molding position for charging a mold for product molding.
