PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adhere and fix a module case to hollow fiber membranes in a highly liquid-tight or airtight state. SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of hollow fiber membrane module has following processes: a process for arranging a plurality of hollow fiber membranes in a sheet form, a process for adhering a mixture of thermoplastic resin powder and liquid on the sheet formed hollow fiber membrane, a process for applying external force of 1KPa-1MPa to a part on which the mixture is supported, a process for rolling the sheet formed hollow fiber membrane into a cylindrical shape and inserting it inside the module case, and a process for heating and fusing the thermoplastic resin powder and cooling, and adhering at least one side end part of the hollow fiber membrane to the end part of the module case. Thus, the primary side of the hollow fiber membrane can surely be fixed to the secondary side thereof in the liquid-tight state with the simple processes. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
