<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the efficiency of fund collection business for small lot multi-product delivery by providing a delivery management system which allows a carrier to obtain a consignee's credit information to bear the risk of fund collection and which efficiently associates credit management and fund management with the management of delivery-related information. <P>SOLUTION: The delivery management system to be used by a carrier consults the credit information of a designated consignee on a database to automatically determine whether or not the purchase of debts is possible and determine requirements if the purchase of the debts is possible, thereby enabling the carrier to purchase an account receivable regarding the sales of delivery. The credit information is calculated by comparing the consignee's information with statistical values for the attributes and accident information of other companies of the same trade, and is registered in the database. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
