<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film surface incident optical recording medium having a satisfactory CNR and jitter when recording, erasing and reproducing information by the incidence of the laser beams having a wavelength λ≤500 nm. <P>SOLUTION: This film surface incident optical recording medium is constituted in such a manner that a reflective layer 12 consisting of an Ag element with the thickness of 80 nm, an intermediate layer 13 consisting of an Al element with the thickness of 3 nm, an optical recording layer 14 consisting of In<SB>15</SB>Sb<SB>60</SB>Sn<SB>25</SB>(atomic percentage ratio) with the thickness of 14 nm, a dielectric layer 15 consisting of Zn-SiO<SB>2</SB>with the thickness of 40 mm, and a transparent cover layer 16 made of UV curing resin with the thickness of 100 μm, are successively laminated on a polycarbonate substrate 11 with the thickness of 1.1 mm. The blue laser beams 17 with the wavelength λ about 405 nm are converged by using an objective lens 18 having the short working distance with the number of apertures (NA) of 0.85 and are incident from a recording layer surface positioned at the side opposite to the substrate side among the recording layer surfaces of the optical recording layer 14 through the transparent cover layer 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
