摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device (unit) which has a large degree of freedom of setting of the distance between optical elements, and eliminates the need for a high-level alignment technique. SOLUTION: The optical device unit is so constituted that the distance L1 between the optical axes of 1st and 2nd optical fibers 1 and 2 is larger than the distance L2 between the optical axis centers of the 1st and 2nd lenses 3 and 4 and a light projection end of the 1st optical fiber 1, the optical axis center of the 1st lens 3, and a reflection point of a reflection type element 5 are arranged on one straight line. Further, the reflection point of the reflection type element 5, the optical axis center of the 2nd lens 4, and an incidence end of the 2nd optical fiber 2 are also arranged on one straight line.
