PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DME fuel supply device of a diesel engine for supplying DME fuel from a fuel tank to an oil sump of an injection pump without a driving means such as a feed pump, and providing a stable fuel injection property. SOLUTION: When a temperature difference between the DME fuel in the oil sump 11 and the DME fuel in the fuel tank 4 is less than a lower limit value of a necessary temperature difference, a return passage selector solenoid valve 22 is controlled to be turned on, and the DME fuel is returned to the fuel tank 4 without going through a cooler 42. When more than an upper limit value, the return passage selector solenoid valve 22 is controlled to be turned off and the fuel is returned to the fuel tank via the cooler 42. When a temperature of the DME fuel in the oil sump 11 is lower than a prescribed lower limit temperature, a cooling medium supply pipe opening/closing solenoid valve 16 is controlled to be turned on. When higher than a prescribed upper limit temperature, the cooling medium supply pipe opening/closing solenoid valve 16 is controlled to be turned off. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
