PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which a wide color reproducing range is realized over the region from halftone gradation to the region having high brightness that is especially important when a natural image or the like is outputted and a high picture quality image is formed. SOLUTION: A color image forming is conducted using six different kinds of toner, i.e., cyan, light cyan, magenta, light magenta, yellow and black. Density and hue are mutually made different for shade toner cyan, magenta, light toner light cyan and light magenta. The image forming in a high brightness region is conducted by using light toner only. In the halftone gradation region, the image forming is conducted using both shade and light toner.
