PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower the manufacturing cost of a cable vibration-proofing device and to simplify fitting work. SOLUTION: This cable vibration-proofing device 10 is composed of: a connecting rod 11 fitted to a cable 4; a foundation frame 12 fitted to a bridge girder 2; an angle spacer 13 mounted between the bridge girder 2 and the foundation frame 12; and vibration-proofing rubber (a damper) 14 mounted between the connecting rod 11 and the foundation frame 12. According to the cable vibration-proofing device 10, a suitable angle spacer 13 can be selected, and the length of the connecting rod 11 can be controlled to simplify fitting. According to the cable vibration-proofing device 10, the connecting rod and the foundation frame are commonalized to respective cables of a diagonally suspended bridge or an extra-dosed bridge, so that the manufacturing cost can be lowered by the mass-production effect of the members.
