MANUFACTURING METHOD OF INTERMEDIATE TRANSFER BELT, INTERMEDIATE TRANSFER BELT-ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR INTEGRAL CARTRIDGE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer belt superior in peripheral length uniformity, eliminating film thickness irregularity, resistance irregularity and color drift, and superior in density uniformity and durable test. SOLUTION: A raw composition obtained by blending a conductive substance with a raw resin mainly comprising a thermoplastic resin is molded into a cylinder by inflation molding. The tensile elastic modulus of a finished product processed into a belt is 300-2000 MPa, and a condition is set so that the tensile elastic modulus at the start of folding by a stable plate of an inflation molding process is 10-80 %. Concretely, the ratio of a height of the stable plate conveying the belt continuously forced out to shape through an annular die by fusion extruding and a belt diameter in bubbling is 3-20. The height of the annular die to the stable plate is 50-150 cm. A belt taking speed from the annular die is 3-8 m/min. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
