PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hypervideo editing method and apparatus for providing a description language in which an editing instruction of a user is described and for presenting a corresponding algorithm to deal with a conventional nonlinear editors such as Adobe Premier. SOLUTION: The method includes: a step of initializing available editing instructions that a user can use; a step of selecting one editing instruction out of the initialized available editing instructions; a step of selecting an input resource for executing the selected editing instruction; a step of executing the selected editing instruction and simultaneously checking the executed result; and a step of executing an end editing instruction and rendering the result. Thus, the executed result on the pre-stage is available as an actual source file in an editing process, computer resources therefor are economized to shorten editing execution time and there is an effect of improving editing efficiency.
