PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium driving device in which the temperature rise of a head IC is efficiently suppressed. SOLUTION: A heat transfer member 34 is mounted on the head IC 25. The thermal resistance of the heat transfer member 34 is smaller than that of a flexible printed circuit board 23. The heat of the head IC 25 is efficiently transferred to an actuator block 17. The actuator block 17 is constituted of e.g. metal material such as aluminum. The thermal resistance of the actuator block 17 is smaller than that of the flexible printed circuit board 23. The heat radiation is efficiently realized by the actuator block 17 as compared with the case of the flexible printed circuit board 23.
