PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propagation preventing method which enables the extermination of cockroaches in houses, can prevent corn barnacles, shells and algae from adhering to ship bottoms and can eradicate acanthasters in the sea and other vermin. SOLUTION: Baits for such animals to be exterminated as cockroaches, corn barnacles, shells, algae and acanthasters are radioactivated by using wastes with radioactivity of a long half-life period.
