PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably clean an X-ray inspection apparatus by eliminating retention of water, when cleaning dirt or the apparatus. SOLUTION: A metal case 6, in which an X-ray detector 2 is housed and a conveying unit 3 is arranged, is tiltable with respect to an apparatus housing 5, in which an X-ray generator 1 is supported. Thus, since cleaning water for cleaning the unit 3 and a dirt flow down without retaining at the site of the unit 3, the apparatus can be suitably cleaned. When a roller 7 and a conveying belt 8 constituting the unit 3 are constituted so as to be removable from the case 6, only the case 6 is made to incline to the housing 5, and hence the retention of the cleaning water and the dirt can be more eliminated.
