PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply an apparent depth to a resin composition containing a pearl gloss pigment. SOLUTION: The resin composition is obtained by coating the surface of a resin molded article containing the pearl gloss pigment with a transparent resin, and the pearl gloss pigment is obtained by coating scaly glass with a metal oxide thin film having higher refractive index than that of the scaly glass. The resin composition has a resin layer containing the pearl pigment between the resin molded product and coated film of the transparent resin. The pearl gloss pigment has 0.3-50μm average thickness and 10-600μm average particle diameter. The metal oxide thin film has 0.03-0.8μm average thickness. The content of the pearl gloss pigment in the resin molded product is 0.05-10 wt.% and the content of the pearl gloss pigment in the resin layer is 0.1-10 wt.%. The transparent resin comprises an acrylic resin, an alkyd resin, a polyester, a polyurethane, a fluororesin, a silicone resin or a polyether as a main component. In the resin composition, the thickness of coated film of the transparent resin is 5-50μm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
