PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated antibiotic substance in a porous material, capable of continuously releasing an antibiotic in a sustained-release manner in an aqueous environment for a period of several days to several weeks. SOLUTION: This coated antibiotic substance in the porous material is obtained by introducing the coated substance into a porous system of a nonmetallic porous material and/or another porous system of a metallic porous material, wherein the coated substance is formed out of at least one of antibiotic salt which is slightly soluble in water or in the aqueous environment and selected from a group comprising laurate, dodecyl sulfate, and myristate salts of antibiotic netilmicin, sisomycin, gentamicin, clindamycin, amikacin, kanamycin, vancomycin, tobramycin, and cyprofuroxane, and clindamycin-teicoplanin and vancomycin-teicoplanin.
