PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an auxiliary device for hanging work capable of easily assembling a structure based on an assembly surface. SOLUTION: This auxiliary device for hanging work consists of an inclination angle sensor tool 2 and a controller 7. The inclination angle sensor tool 2 is equipped with an inclination angle sensor, a transmitting means which transmits the inclination angle measured by the inclination angle sensor and a fixing means which is capable of being detachably fixed on a structure on the ground side 1a or a structure on the hung load side 1b. The controller 7 is equipped with a plurality of slings which are engaged with the structure on the hung load side 1b, actuators 4a, 4b which are attached onto each sling and moves the slings in accordance with control signals, a storage/calculation means of calculating sling movement amount of the actuators on the basis of the inclination angle transmitted from the inclination angle sensor tool 2 and a transmitting means of transmitting the control signals to the actuators.
