<p>A ceramic composition represented by the formula Ca(Li1/3Nb2/3)O3-delta is combined with CaTiO3 of positive temperature coefficient so as to form a solid solution of the general formula Ca[(Li1/3Nb2/3)1-xTix]O3-delta, thereby realizing a temperature coefficient close to 0 ppm/°C. Adding B2O3 being a low melting point compound to this solid solution enables lowering the firing temperature of the composition without detriment to dielectric characteristics. Joint use of B2O3 and Bi2O3 enables attaining further lowering of the firing temperature. Thus, there can be provided a dielectric ceramic composition for low temperature firing which exhibits excellent dielectric characteristics and which is capable of simultaneous firing with materials such as Ag and Cu commonly used as electrode materials.</p> |
