A wheel for a tire where rims for mounting a tire filled with air are joined to the outer peripheral edges of a disk and the rims are formed so as to have cylindrical left and right bead sheets from which humps are projected and have circular left and right rim flanges joined to the outer edges of the bead sheets. A ring-like thick plate portion extending in a circumferential direction of the wheel is provided on a portion of the bead sheet that is positioned between the hump and the rim flange that are located inside a vehicle when the wheel is mounted on the vehicle.
