NETWORK BRIDGE DEVICE AND METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: To provide a network bridge device and a method in which transmission/reception of data between mutual networks can be executed by facilitating identification of apparatuses between the networks having different specifications. CONSTITUTION: AV apparatuses 15, 16 connected to a radio network 14 are detected via a radio I/F part 18. Identification information(Self_ID) for adding the detected AV apparatuses 15, 16 to a 1394 bus 12 is generated and it is transmitted to the 1394 bus 12 via a 1394 I/F part 17.
