PURPOSE: A twisting device and a twisting method of a cooling machine are provided to prevent the formation of a cooling shadow area by manufacturing a coolant pipe in a zigzag manner. CONSTITUTION: A fixing jig section and moving jig section are installed at both sides of a table. The fixing jig section is fixedly installed on a fixing plate(12) which is fixed to the table. The fixing jig section has a plurality of fixing jigs(11) having an insertion hole for receiving a coolant pipe. The moving jig section has a plurality of moving jigs(21) which are arranged in a moving section in a zigzag manner with respect to the fixing jigs(11) and a control part for controlling the moving section based on a signal of a handling section in such a manner that the coolant pipe is twisted by the moving jigs(21).
