<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shopping cart, a shopping system and a shopping method capable of assisting a purchaser in purchasing merchandise. <P>SOLUTION: The shopping cart 10 is connectable to a shop server (merchandise manager) 20 via a wireless LAN base station in each shop. When a purchaser puts an article of merchandise in the shopping cart 10 in the shop 15, the shopping cart 10 reads merchandise information (1) and sends this merchandise information to the shop server 20 via the wireless LAN base station (2). Upon obtaining the merchandise information (2), the shop server 20 sends information on the price of the article of merchandise to the shopping cart (3).
