PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize portable electronic equipment which transfers the display content of a display means to a state where characters of a desired size or the like are displayed by an easy operation.

SOLUTION: The display content displayed on the display means 15 is at least vertically and laterally scrolled by the control of a control part 32 according to a signal obtained by operating a push button 19 for a first operation means 26 arranged in a casing 11. The display content displayed on the display means 15 is extended and contracted by the control of the control part 32 according to a signal obtained by circumferentially operating a ring-like operation part 18 for a second operation means 31.
