<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing member for a helical pipe, which strongly reinforces the helical pipe, and in which back filling material is filled to the whole space between an inner surface of a sewer pipe and the helical pipe, and a method for constructing a regenerated pipe using that. <P>SOLUTION: As the reinforcing member 10 is installed on a leg part 22 of a strip 16, space 54 is formed between a side wall part 48 of the reinforcing member 10 and a main body 20 of the strip 16, and the back filling material 44 is fed to the whole space 54 to be tightly applied to the leg part 22. The leg part 22 is held strongly by the back filling material 44. The reinforcing member 10 is placed on the leg part 22 of the strip 16 to be installed onto the leg part 22 without being elastically deformed. To prevent the leg part 22 from coming off the reinforcing member 10, the side wall part 48 of the reinforcing member 10 is caulked to be engaged with the leg part 22. As the leg part is strongly held by the back filling material, the regenerated pipe is formed with such strength as to prevent the strip from coming off the reinforcing member even by ground vibration or the like. As the reinforcing member is placed on the leg part to be installed on the leg part, labor of a worker can be reduced.
