<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-water storage tank with an expansion tank capable of preventing degradation by heat of the expansion tank by reducing the number of components and simplifying a mounting structure of the expansion tank. <P>SOLUTION: The hot-water storage tank 1 with the expansion tank used in a solar heat collecting apparatus comprises the metallic hot-water storage tank 2 and the metallic expansion tank 3 fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the storage tank 2. The expansion tank 3 comprises a peripheral wall 3a formed by a shell 4 of the tank 2 and a peripheral wall constituting member 9 that extends vertically, has both side edges welded with the outer peripheral surface of the shell 4, has a part between both side edges projecting outward so as to separate from the outer peripheral surface of the shell 4, and has profiled cross sections. The expansion tank 3 also comprises a top wall 3b that has a peripheral edge with a shape facing the upper end of the member 9 and the outer peripheral surface of the shell 4 and is welded with the upper end of the member 9 and the outer peripheral surface of the shell 4. The tank 3 also comprises a bottom wall 3c that has a peripheral edge with a shape facing the lower end of the member 9 and the outer peripheral surface of the shell 4 and is welded with the lower end of the member 9 and the outer peripheral surface of the shell 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
