<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of operability when each IC card is attached even when IC cards with a variety of functions are attached to an attaching part. <P>SOLUTION: The adapter device is provided with a device body 21 provided in one side face with an insertion opening 27 for inserting the IC card 4 and the attaching part continuous with the insertion opening 27 for attaching the IC card 4, a cover member covering one principal plane of the device body 21 and slidably attached to the device body 21, an interface for data transmission and reception between the IC card 4 attached to the attaching part and a host apparatus, and a support member 23 turnably supporting the device body 21 in a side facing the insertion opening 27 with respect to an installation face by a hinge mechanism. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
