PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To photograph and composite images by preventing overlap of two objects and to obtain a natural composition result when a composite image as if two objects exist in the same image is composited from an image formed by individually photographing two objects. SOLUTION: Three images as a first object image, a second object image and a background image are acquired and two compensated images of which the background parts are matched with each other are generated by using one of three images by a background compensation quantity calculation means 4 and a compensated image generation means 5. An overlap image generation means 9 generates an image by overlapping the reference image with one or two of compensated images. Thus, since respective backgrounds are matched with each other, the separately photographed first and second objects are composited without an unnatural feeling to the background.
