PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which toner deterioration caused by heat and damage in the device are avoided, an increase in the size of the device caused by the pressure of a transfer and simultaneous fixing system, fixing wrinkles and image fattening are avoided and also image deterioration caused by transfer dust is surely suppressed without using capsule toner. SOLUTION: A copying machine which is used as an image forming device is provided with a photosensitive body 1, a developing device 6, a transfer device 5 which is used to transfer a toner image formed on the body 1 using a transfer roller 52 onto a transfer material by heating and pressuring the image and a fixing device 7 which is used to fix the toner image being transferred on the transfer material. A heater 56, a temperature detecting device 57 and a temperature controller are provided to control the temperature of the roller 52 to a temperature range which is equal to or more than a toner glass transition temperature (Tg) and less than softening temperature (Tm) and is lower than the fixing temperature of the device 7.
