PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a drive means for a crushing means from being started without placing a lid body on a drain port when a detection means fails in an ON state. SOLUTION: A crushing processor 3 is provided with the crushing means 11 installed below the drain port 6 opened in a sink 1 for crushing garbage charged through the drain port 6 by driving the drive means 16, the lid body 20 detachably placed on the drain port 6, detection means 27a and 27b for processing ON/OFF corresponding to placement states of the lid body 20 on the drain port 6, a control means 33 for outputting a drive/stop command according to an ON/OFF status of the detection means 27a and 27b and energization control means 34 and 35 for controlling energization of the drive means 16 on the basis of the drive/stop command outputted from the control means 33.
