PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pre-loading unit for the rolling bearing equipment that can obtain the aimed loss torque of the rolling bearing and simplify the unit constitution for pre-loading, besides the pre-loading work can be made more efficient. SOLUTION: A pre-loading unit 21 is provided with a bearing support means 31 that fixes and supports a shaft 23, an inner ring forwarding means 33 that makes an inner ring 6 fitting on the outer circumference of the shaft 23 displace to axial direction for pre-loading, a rotation drive means 37 that rotates a housing 27 of the double row ball bearing equipment 29 in non-contact condition with a certain torque, a speed detection means 39 that detects the rotational speed of the housing 27 in non-contact condition and a control means 41 that controls the forward movement of the inner ring forwarding means 33 by comparing the detected rotational speed from the speed detection means 39 with a preset threshold value and controls and giving the pre-load gradually to the double row ball bearing equipment 29 making the inner ring 6 displace to the axial direction by the inner ring forwarding means 33 while rotating the housing 27 of the double row rolling bearing equipment 29 by the rotation driving means 37.
