PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet device for a load-carrying platform, enabling the loading and unloading of a cargo from above the platform using a crane to perform efficient loading and unloading of the cargo by using a sheet, and performing efficient work of spreading the sheet to cover the platform and folding the spread sheet for storage by automatically developing the sheet and winding it from its development condition for storage with the use of a motor. SOLUTION: In this sheet device for the platform, a front shaft 2 and a rear shaft 3 are connected with a forward rotation motor 21 and a backward rotation motor 31 which are independent, respectively. A plurality of ropes 6 are stretched between the front shaft and the rear shaft. The sheet 7 is attached to the plurality of ropes. The rope wound around the front shaft and stored and the sheet are reeled out while winding the rope by the rear shaft to develop the sheet. On the contrary, the rope and the sheet are wound from the sheet development condition by the front shaft to reel out the rope wound around the rear shaft to wind and store the sheet into a condition where the load-carrying platform 9 is opened.
