PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To report the probability, when arises, that the detection function of a medal sensor is not normally demonstrated due to faults or illegal actions. SOLUTION: When the number of payoff medals is determined by a CPU 201, a payoff motor 51 is driven and the payoff of medals is started. Then, the CPU 201 counts elapsed time from the point of time of starting the payoff of the medals, and when standby time set corresponding to the number of the payoff medals elapses before the number of detected medals by the medal sensor 53 reaches the preset number of the payoff medals, makes an alarm lamp 41 flicker and lowers a medal payoff speed by lowering the speed of the payoff motor 51.
