POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM

A power supply system for supplying power to a load. The system comprises one or more power transmission lines for supplying power to a load and power supply units the outputs of which are connected to the power transmission lines in parallel. Each power supply unit comprises a generator, an inverter for converting the power generated by the generator into AC power and outputting it, an inverter controller for controlling the inverter, and a connection device for supplying the AC power outputted from the inverter to the power transmission lines. The inverter controller has a load sharing adjusting section for adjusting the sharing of the supply of the load current from the power supply units. Under operation of the power supply units, rated operation of at least one power supply unit can be achieved, enabling efficient operation.
