<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To selectively provide detailed information for every area to only a person who requires it by enabling an owner of a mobile terminal such as cellular phone to easily acquire information peculiar to his/her desired area such as shopping or events in the area. <P>SOLUTION: In this method for delivering areal information corresponding to the position of the mobile terminal through the Internet, (a) areal information peculiar to the area is edited for every area, and the edition result is preliminarily accumulated in a local server provided in each area, or the areal information is laid in a state transmittable from the local server. (b) The head office management server acquires the present position information of the mobile terminal in response to the access from the mobile terminal.
