摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing high quality magnesium alloy materials by melting magnesium alloys again, pouring into a mold, and rolling the slab, and to provide a manufacturing apparatus by connecting melting, casting, and rolling equipments together. SOLUTION: When magnesium alloy materials are melted, the molten bath is intercepted from air at the upper part with a mixed gas containing SF<SB>6</SB>and CO<SB>2</SB>in a melting furnace, an inert gas is poured into the molten bath and bubbling refining is done, impurities are separated at the upper and lower parts of the molten bath, pumping up process in a melting process, and the molten metal is made to flow from the fluxing nozzle opening to the mold. The fluxing nozzle opening is kept away from the position near the bottom of the mold according to fluxing in a casting process, and just before the rolling stock is brought into contact with the roll, the roll is heated from the surface by using of the temperature control means of the roll, and at the same time, the temperature of the rolling stock is controlled to be suitable for hot rolling by using a temperature control means for the rolling stock, and the temperature is equalized in a rolling process, and then magnesium alloy materials are manufactured.
