PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a biodegradable polyester resin composition excellent in mechanical strengths, heat resistance and flexibility and having a rheology characteristic which is advantageous to molding of foam, or the like, and to provide a method for producing the resin composition and to provide a molded product of the resin composition. SOLUTION: The biodegradable polyester resin composition comprises (a) a biodegradable polyester resin containing≥50 mol%α- and/orβ-hydroxycarboxylic acid unit, (b) a biodegradable aliphatic-aromatic copolyester resin having≤0°C glass transition temperature and (c) a (meth)acrylic ester compound, and the resin composition contains these components in a weight ratio (a/b) of (99/1) to (20/80) and in an amount of the component (c) of 0.01-20 pts. wt. based on 100 pts. wt. total amount of these components (a) and (b).
